Special Memories
- 2014 was the first year STEICAMP commemorative pins and lanyards were available. Honeybee Holly and Mustang Mark came up with the idea to commemorate STEICAMPs year to year, to provide a readily accessible schedule of events and, most importantly, to display the ancestor history so STEICAMPs may know how they are related to one another.
- Chief PP (Petrified Paul) completed his long reign as Chief that started with the first STEICAMP in 1973. Mustang Mark helped during STEICAMP 2014 and was voted in as the new Chief at STEICAMP 2016 along with the rest of the STEICAMP committee members for their various roles.
- Several STEICAMPers road the train from Williams into the Grand Canyon, others traveled be cars. to see one of the biggest holes on earth.
- Glacier John and Sierra Celine took a epic bucket list hike to the bottom of Grand Canyon and then back up the next day – spirits were high once finished but muscles were sore. Congratulations and kudos to both STEICAMPers!
- “STEICAMP – Vacation” and “STEICAMP – Reunion” songs were created by Mustang Mark (based on Oscar Mayer wiener and Armor hot dog jingles)
- Cascade Cleo transferred the “Historian” title to Meadowlark Marketa
