Special Memories
  • A Generational Get-Together was held at Yellowstone Beer Company Taproom
    • The 20-30-somethings of Gen 3 got to reconnect at the local brewery.
  • STEICAMP went to the rodeo!
    • Nearly 100 family members (2/3 of STEICAMP 2028 attendees) went to the West Yellowstone Rodeo on Tuesday, taking up half of the first two rows of the arena!
    • The event logistics were graciously coordinated by Honeybee Holly.
  • Alamo Alan assembled a Movie of Steichen’s passed.
    • It was especially touching and heartfelt, as we lost several members of the STEICAMP family all within the last 2 years.
    • This was accompanied by a poster made by Jaguar Jennifer, where everyone got to write their memories of these family members.
  • The auction raised a whopping $9,628, setting yet another record for the second reunion in a row!
    • Thank you all for the wonderful auction items, generous bids, and above-and-beyond donations.
    • We continue to have sufficient funds to keep STEICAMP going strong!!!
  • STEICAMP SWAG was sold! Alongside the traditional lanyard and buttons, STEICAMP trucker caps, stickers, and magnets were available for purchase.
    • All proceeds ($300+) went into the STEICAMP fund.
    • Lanyards and buttons were organized by Mustang Mark and Honeybee Holly.
    • Trucker caps were organized by Jaguar Jen.
    • Stickers and magnets were organized by Agave Ahna and Nevada Nicholas.
  • Not once, but twice, STEICAMP was rained out!
    • Once during the Fiesta Family Dinner (where only a few canopies and signs were harmed in the chaos) and in the middle of the STEICAMP Family Photos.
    • Despite the elements, STEICAMPERs came together, helped each other get settled under the pavilion, and even laughed in the face of the wind, rain, and thunder.
  • Rustlin Roman set up shop with Meadowlark Marketa to display their hand-turned pens.
    • Several Steichens left STEICAMP with a new pen that would make the neighbors jealous!
  • Tractor Travis proposed to new STEICAMPer, Kolby Kellie… and she said “yes!!!”
    • Making it the 3rd proposal to occur at STEICAMP
  • The Left Right Center game pooled a total of $106, with the winner being Goldfinch Gina. Talk about a high-stakes game!
  • Rambling Ray retired from the role as Treasurer, and was succeeded by Diamond Don.
    • We are grateful to Rambling Ray for his service, and look forward to Diamond Don’s financial leadership.
  • Closing Campfire legends were presented by two chiefs, former Chief PiPi (Petrified Paul) and the current Chief, Mustang Mark.
    • Former Chief PiPi was responsible for those receiving names who were 12 and under.
    • Chief Mustang Mark was responsible for those 13 and up.
    • You can read the Former Chief PiPi Legend [here] and the Mustang Mark Legend [here].
