Yellowstone Park/West Gate KOA Holiday in beautiful West Yellowstone, MT. The world’s first and America’s largest National Park, Yellowstone NP is full of natural wonders and beauty. Within its 2.2 million acres lie the greatest collection of geysers on this earth, the largest alpine lake in the nation, the colorful Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, thundering waterfalls higher than Niagara Falls, petrified forests, trout-laden streams, and an endless array of native wildlife ranging from ground squirrels to grizzly bears. Yellowstone NP has more natural beauty than you can absorb in a lifetime.
Yellowstone Park/West Gate KOA Holiday offers an abundance of activities while surrounded by incredible scenic views. A heated Indoor Swimming pool, Playground, Jump Zone, Basketball, Gaga Ball, Bike Rentals, Horseshoe pits, and a Pavilion for our group events. Also: Upgraded Wi-Fi and Laundry Rooms.
There are many nearby opportunities for family fun:
- Yellowstone National Park – minutes away. Bus tours are available that pick up at the KOA front door.

- Horseback Riding – ½ day and full-day trips along the Continental Divide
- Mammoth Hot Springs – 49 miles away
- Grand Teton National Park – 78 miles away
- Gold Rush Ghost Towns – 84 miles away in Virginia City, Montana
We are working with the area manager, Fred, who will work to try to keep our group as close together as possible.
We will be using the pavilion for most of our group events, so when booking, try to book as close to the pavilion as you can.
There are 11 deluxe cabins with bathrooms (all are reserved), 30+ KOA camping cabins (all are reserved), RV sites (all are reserved), and tent sites (some availability exists). Cheers to STEICAMP 2026!
